PETER’S
PENCE COLLECTION THIS WEEKEND: This Sat. &
Sun our diocese will take up the Peter’s Pence Collection, which provides the
Holy Father with assistance to carry out important charitable works. The proceeds benefit victims of war,
oppression, and disasters. Examples
include a village for HIV/AIDS orphans in Kenya, the establishment of St.
Vincent de Paul Hospital in Bosnia, etc.
Every contribution, regardless of amount, helps multiply the efforts in
worldwide solidarity.
MASS
IN LATIN: Fr. Isaac Relyea, a religious
order priest, offers the Tridentine Mass in Latin (according to the
extraordinary form) at 7 AM Tuesday through Saturday at 302 Dunphy Rd., Albany. Missalettes with Latin on one side of the
page & English on the other side are provided. Fr. Isaac is also available to hear
confessions and to provide the Anointing of the Sick. He can be reached at 608-490-0689. Directions:
Take Hwy 92 East. Turn right on
County E. Go several miles on County E
& then turn left on Dunphy Rd. 302
Dunphy Rd. will be on your left hand side.
(It is very near the intersection of Dunphy
Rd., & Hwy 104)
SISTER
PARISH: Fish Fry on Friday, September 10th
from 5:00-8:00 PM in the St. Michael Parish Hall in Dane, WI.
OPPORTUNITY: RCIA classes for adults who want to join the Church
or who need to receive Baptism, or First Communion, or Confirmation will be
starting near the end of Sept. Please
contact Fr. Mick for information.
MEETINGS:
**There will be a
Teacher & Assistant Teacher meeting for all Pre K-10th
teachers on Sept. 8th from 6-8 pm in St. Mary of Lourdes
hall. A light supper is planned for the
meeting.
**Belleville
Nursery Center Parent Meeting will also be held from 7-9 pm at the St. Mary of
Lourdes hall as well.
**There will be a Parent
Meeting for all Pre K – 6th Sunday school students on Sept. 12th
right after the 8:30 am Mass. Important
information will be discussed over refreshments.
BLOOD DRIVE: American
Red Cross will hold a Blood Drive on Sep. 13th from 2-6 pm in the
EMS Building at 480 River St, Belleville.
This is sponsored by the Econo-Misers Homemakers & the Kiwanis Club
of Belleville.
EXPANDED CONFESSION TIMES: Opportunities
for confessions are available on Saturday from 4:15-4:45 PM. Confessions are also heard on Sundays from
7:45-8:15 AM. You are also welcome to
contact Fr. Mick to arrange other times for individual confessions.
CONFIRMATION
CLASSES: Resumed on Sept. 1st. The next class is Wed., Oct. 6th
from 8-9 pm in the St. Mary of Lourdes hall.
DEDICATION MASS: Bishop
Morlino will preside at the dedication of our Church on Sunday, October 10,
during the 11 AM Mass. A light reception
will follow the dedication.
FALL DINNER: Our St. Francis
Annual Pork and Chicken Church Dinner will be held October 3rd
starting at 11:30 a.m. If you are interested in volunteering that day,
please call Nan Engen at 527-5328. The raffle will kick off at the Church
Dinner with the final drawing at a Family Bunco Bash in March 2011. Raffle prizes include: A trip to New York for two, $1,000 in groceries,
$500 in gasoline, an overnight stay at the Chalet Landhaus in New Glarus, an
overnight stay at the Kalahari in WI Dells, and five $50 local restaurant
certificates. Raffle tickets are $10 ea.

your theme baskets for display & be sure to include the Donors Name. We will have a “gift card” basket. All donated gift cards are welcome for this
basket. Tickets are $1.00 ea. or 25
tickets for $20.
RAFFLE
TICKETS: State law prohibits
the mailing of raffle tickets, so they are in alphabetical order by parishioner’s
last name near the entrance of the main church.
Our prizes feature entertainment and day to day needs.
MASS
INTENTIONS: We have many Mass
Intention openings for weekday and weekend Masses. Mass intentions may be offered for living or
deceased persons, Catholics and non Catholics, as well as special
intentions. The usual offering for a
Mass is $10.00. Please contact the
parish office to request Mass(es).
NEEDED: We still need LITURGICAL VOLUNTEERS for
several Mass times. Please help make a
difference in the lives of others by volunteering today. There are sign-up sheets on the bulletin
board and by the office. It’s a great
way to get to know other parishioners.

NOTE: Fr. Mick will be gone on Tue. & Wed. of

CHURCH
SECRETARY: Cheri Kainz has
had to reduce her hours so we have hired a new secretary. Her name is Genevieve (Ginny) Sager. Ginny will start on Tue. Sept. 7th
and will be here from 8 am until noon each day.
Cheri will stay on to help out two nights per week working with the
merger, database, registration, and training Ginny.
